FAQ – Florence Pickleball Club

How do I join the club?

Go to the top of the page and click “Sign Up”. Complete the Member Signup Form, check the Waiver Form box and submit with $10 onlineYou can also pay by cash or check to a FPC Board Member or by mail at FSC, PO Box 13679, Florence, SC 29504.

Do you Provide an ID card once I join the club?

No, club membership ID cards are not issued at this time.

Does the club provide equipment?

Yes. We provide pickleballs at each facility during scheduled play times.

I do not have a paddle. Do you rent them?

Sorry, we don’t rent paddles. However, many players have extra paddles and will often be willing to loan you one to play with. Paddles are available for purchase from a variety of vendors, both locally and online.

I will be in town for a few days. Where and when can I play?

Timrod Park, 400 Timrod Park Dr., Florence, SC 29501, has six (6) dedicated, outdoor, lighted pickleball courts. They are available for play from 6:00 AM until 10:00 PM every day. FPC plays there Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting at 6:00 PM, Saturday mornings at 10:00 AM and Sunday afternoons at 2:00 PM.

Pearl Moore Basketball Center, 500 Barnes St., Florence, SC 29501, has six (6) indoor courts available from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM Monday thru Thursday. There will always be FPC members playing there.

Do you Rotate Players when the courts are full?

Yes. We have a rotation system of play so all have equal access. We take turns playing with whoever is on the courts. Players cannot monopolize the courts for their own play when players are waiting. Usually, those players waiting organize a foursome to play on the next available court.
